I used to be a rugby player and my family never waits until Christmas because it’s the most favorite day of the year and thank you for all the presents and the lollies. I love Christmas because we get presents and it’s the time when your family gets together and has a good time. Every Christmas my family has a huge dinner because of you and you are the most awesome person in the world! I have 3 brothers and their names are Aydan, Isaac and Joseph, you probably know them.

It’s the holidays and in the holidays...
I went to Inflatable World on Wednesday. My grandma and grandpa took me and my two brothers Isaac and Aydan. When we got to Inflatable World it was very crowded. There were heaps of games like a giant slide, an obstacle course, rock climbing, Battle zone and 3 others and they were all inflated.
My parents went to Auckland and my grandma had to babysit me and my brothers Isaac, Aydan and Joseph. It was the most boringest time of my life. We got 3 movies. Grandma stayed over the whole weekend including Friday. I was so happy when my mum and dad came back.
Me and my family (my mum, my dad, Aydan, me, Isaac and Joseph) went to Wellington, it was about a 4 hour drive from our house. All we got to do in the car was wait and sleep. When we got there I was so happy! The first person I saw and knew was my auntie. My auntie can speak Samoan same as my mum. Then I saw Johaunis, my uncle, this guy called Thomas and Nathan. After dinner we had to sleep in a sleeping bag. Just before we left we went to Burger King and I saved my drink until we got home then drank it all.
It was good to be home.
On the 21 July 2014 we got 3 movies. They were Robo Cop and I forgot the name of the other 2. We got an adult movie and 2 movies for the whole family. That night we watched all the movies except for the adult movie. We watched all the family movies until 8.30 P.M. We fell asleep so fast that we got to sleep in the lounge.
Thats a day I will always remember.

A moment in time...
Suddenly...
I heard the little switch quietly flick off.
I heard my brother chatting loudly.
I saw the bright light in the long corridor.
I saw nothing only blank as the light went out.
I felt my hot sheets warm me up as I tried and tried to get to sleep.
I felt my extremely cold pillow making my head extremely cold.
I wondered if my brother would ever stop talking and chatting.
I wondered if I would ever ever ever get to sleep when my brother was talking.

Scratch
In class I have been
learning about the points of the compass and directions.
This week I learnt about
a programme called Scratch which uses directions to create a little computer
program.
My job was to use Scratch to create something that could be shared with the rest of the class. What my Scratch was about was all down to me and my imagination! I had to be creative!

As part of our topic I have been thinking about myself and what
makes me special. This has led to me thinking about what I would like to be
when I grow up.
I made a ToonDoo about it.
Swimming Sports
Swimming Sports is where the Year 4s, 5s and 6s at Havelock North
Primary take part in swimming races in their houses. We then had to create a
voki for homework about one of the races.
Our voki needed to tell the class about our favourite race at
swimming sports and why we liked that one the best. We had to remember to hook
our listener in and give the audience lots of interesting information.
